Some residents of Jefferson City, Missouri, who lost power when a tornado rampaged through their neighborhood are trying to get some sleep after making it through the day, and now into the night, without power. (May 24)

Massive funnel cloud in Texas panhandle

Tornadoes strafed the middle of the country Thursday, this time concentrated in sparsely populated panhandles of Oklahoma and Texas. One particulary large funnel cloud was spotted in Lipscomb County, Texas, near the Oklahoma state line. (May 24)
