Mask policies are being updated by Carnival and Royal Caribbean coinciding with the CDC’s update to its voluntary COVID-19 program for cruise lines.

Maui is lifting some of its COVID-19 restrictions like proof of vaccination and a negative coronavirus test as daily cases continue to fall in Hawaii.

The CDC says travelers should make sure they are “up to date” with their COVID-19 vaccines before cruising.

Starting Feb. 28, vaccinated visitors will be able to enter Canada with a negative rapid antigen test instead of a molecular PCR test.

“Avoid travel to these destinations,” the CDC says. “If you must travel to these destinations, make sure you are fully vaccinated before travel.”

France now allows fully vaccinated travelers and those under the age of 12 from the U.S. to enter without a negative coronavirus test.

Las Vegas visitors explore the Strip Super Bowl weekend, the first without a mask mandate since July.

The island is set to update its entry requirements for vaccinated travelers on March 7.

The “Amtrak Loves You Sale” runs through Feb. 16 and will let customers bring along a companion at no charge for travel between March 1 and Aug. 31.

The announcement comes roughly one month after Norwegian canceled multiple sailings due to COVID-19-related issues.
