In a phone call, Kemp refused Trump’s request for a special legislative session to appoint a pro-Trump slate to the Electoral College, reports said.

Some Trump aides said they’re not giving up on the election, but are bracing for the worst.

President Trump plans to spend the day making calls, giving interviews, monitoring events from the White House.

“He was having fun at a Trump rally,” said campaign adviser Lara Trump of the chant while Gov. Whitmer called the president’s rhetoric “dangerous.”
