Clearly, Trump must enjoy having a big chunk of our government closed. Besides a border wall fight, what else is he getting out of this mess? A lot.

No amount of evidence will cure birtherism. And no wall will protect Trump’s followers from the fear of losing cultural dominance or majority status.

Republicans have given up on voters. America’s future depends on whether Democrats can expand voting rights faster than the GOP can restrict them.

House Democrats, start the impeachment process. Trump is abusing his office and Republicans are ignoring the worst attack on rule of law since Nixon.

Democrats can find a painful down side for every win. But their substantial popular vote victory makes clear America is rejecting Trump’s advances.

If you don’t want to reward Trump, vote for Democrats and do it soon. The alternative is a future of health care rollbacks and corruption eruptions.
