“Leaders in authoritarian countries like Russia, China, Venezuela, now repress the media using your words,” Fox News host Chris Wallace told Trump.

“Wow, Mr. President, that’s a good one,” Schiff replied. “Was that like your answers to Mr. Mueller’s questions, or did you write this one yourself?”

Trump also said he gives his presidency an A+ so far. “Is that enough?Can I go higher than that?”

“Our news organizations support the fundamental constitutional right to question this President, or any President,” media outlets declared.

Six days after polls closed in the 2018 midterm elections, some major races remain undecided as anxious politicians express concern about the delay.

Schumer said Democrats may tie the spending bill to protection for the special counsel. But he stopped short of saying he would risk a shutdown.

Many races have yet to be called, but it is clear that the predicted “blue wave” in the 2018 midterms turned out to be more of a Democratic swell.
